Conference on Production History from Our Faculty Member to High School Students
Academic Activity

A lecture titled "History of Production" was given to the students of Çankırı Şehit Korhan Uluçay Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School by ÇAKÜ Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics Lecturer Ahmet Yurtseven.
Yurtseven stated that they organized the conference in order to provide enlightening information to students about the efforts people have made towards production throughout history, and made the following statements in his speech:
"Man is a producing and consuming being. From the moment he was created, he had to meet his biological needs, that is, consume, in order to live. Primitive society, whose most basic feature can be expressed as the absence of a written culture, was the society formed by the first people and lived in small groups for the longest period of history. People put forward their efforts towards production in order to meet their biological needs until they reached written culture. In addition, today, people do not live by collecting the things they can reach around them, like primitive people, and they only meet their various needs." "The necessity of engaging in production activities is the Fertile Crescent Region, which includes Turkey, where many firsts in history began, such as the first production, the first settlement, the first city, the first civilized life."
