Graduation Enthusiasm at ÇAKÜ
Çankırı Karatekin University 2025-2026 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony was held with great enthusiasm and intense participation at Uluyazı Campus National Mefkure Square.

Speaking on behalf of the graduating students at the ceremony, 2025-2026 Academic Year University Valedictorian, Huriye Dolaşık, a student at the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, made an emotional speech in which she shared her experiences throughout her education life and the joy of graduation.

Stating that ÇAKÜ has become one of the respected and promising universities of Turkey in the 19-year period, Karataş stated that the university contributes to the future of the country with its 11 faculties, 7 vocational schools, 2 institutes, 744 academicians, more than 500 administrative staff and more than 18 thousand students.
Touching on the historical and cultural heritage of the university in his speech, Karataş emphasized that Taş Mescit, one of the important values of Çankırı, is not only a historical building but also a healing center and education center of centuries ago. With the inspiration Çankırı Karatekin University draws from this deep-rooted heritage, it provides its students with not only professional knowledge; He said that he aims to impart the values of wisdom, justice, mercy and humanity.
Providing information about the university's regional development-oriented studies, Karataş stated that projects such as specialization projects in the field of Salt and Salt-Based Strategic Products, R&D activities carried out with partner universities and the ongoing National Technology Workshop make significant contributions to the scientific and technological development of the university.
Touching on the success of the student communities, Karataş congratulated the students by stating that ÇAKÜ succeeded in becoming the third university with the highest number of project acceptances in Turkey within the scope of ÜNİDES 6th Term Projects.
Karataş also addressed the families of the graduate students and thanked all the parents, stating that the families' great efforts and sacrifices contributed to the success of the students.
At the end of his speech, Karataş gave advice to the graduates and congratulated all the graduates, wishing that they would be useful individuals for the country and humanity without deviating from knowledge, conscience and justice in their future lives.
Certificates of Achievement Presented
Following Rector Karataş's speech, certificates of achievement were presented to the students who were ranked in the faculty and department.
After the certification ceremony, Rector Karataş wore the national team jersey and gave a message of support with the students accompanied by Turkish flags in order to support the National Football Team competing in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
1,644 Graduates Throw Their Caps
The ceremony was attended by Rector Prof. Dr. It ended with Mevlüt Karataş's countdown and 1,644 graduating students throwing their caps into the air together.
